We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Guidance Counsellor to join our team. Position: Guidance Counsellor Type: Full-time School Counsellor Curriculum: Canadian Curriculum, Cambridge and IBDP Education Stage: Whole School (Early Years to Secondary) Job Description: The academic guidance counsellor supports students academically, socially, and emotionally throughout their secondary education. They help students set academic goals, select courses, and prepare for post-secondary pathways including college, university, or vocational training. The guidance counsellor also provides individual support for personal issues, mental health concerns, and peer relationships. They work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure each student’s well-being and success. Additionally, they may organize workshops, career fairs, and college visits to help students explore future options. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, guidance counsellors play a key role in promoting student development and achievement. Proactively teaching students social emotional skills while developing student self awareness to inform course pathways to select universities worldwide. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education Counseling or related field preferred but not mandatory - Strong communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically - Ability to build trusting relationships with students of all ages - Basic understanding of child development principles - Willingness to learn about the Canadian curriculum framework - Good organiza
