Greenkeeper

We are delighted to announce a rare opportunity to join our Grounds Team here at Stonyhurst as Greenkeeper, with responsibility for the Stonyhurst Golf Club grounds. Most of the time you’ll work on your own so you’ll need to be able to manage your time and prioritise your work. We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years’ experience and has knowledge of how to look after the tees, fairways and greens including preparing for competitions. Ideally you will have a Foundation Degree is Sports Turf (or similar) along with PA1, PA2 and PA6 qualifications and be certified to use a chainsaw. Hours of work: This is a permanent, full time role with opportunity for overtime from April until September and an enhanced hourly rate at weekends. With the additional earnings potential available during the summer months, you can expect to earn in the region of £27,000.
