Rugby School are looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant – Strength and Conditioning on a 12-month contract commencing September 2026.
Rugby School prides itself on having a forward thinking and dynamic sports department. Sport at Rugby School is at an all-time high and we are looking to complement our department with a Strength and Conditioning coach that shares our drive for research, coaching and sports provision.
The role is for a full-time member of staff who will support the Sports department with planning and delivering our Strength and Conditioning programme. They will immerse themselves in life at a busy boarding school helping with fixtures, tournaments and training. They will be introduced into the sport science delivery program and support with analysis, athlete training programs and mentoring.
We pride ourselves on offering the successful candidate work experience in a vastly experienced department, alongside regular training in sports coaching, research and guiding aspiring athletes into the world of professional sports via our links with professional sports organisations. Previous graduates have gone on to complete masters and gain employment with elite sports clubs or lead S & C positions in independent schools.
The role will start at the September 2026 and is 50 hours per week. Accommodation and meals whilst on duty are provided.
