Graduate Sports Coach

We offer an extensive programme of competitive fixtures and co-curricular activities, encouraging pupils of all abilities to participate, develop their skills and enjoy being active. You will play a key role in supporting this programme and helping pupils achieve their full potential. The RoleWorking closely with the Sports Department you will: Support the delivery of timetabled Games and PE lessons. Coach and supervise pupils across a wide range of lunchtime, before-school and after-school sports sessions. Help deliver our extensive programme of competitive fixtures and sporting events. Coach and manage school teams, including team selection, administration and pupil welfare. This is likely to include rugby in the autumn term, football in the spring term and cricket in the summer term. Accompany pupils to fixtures and supervise transport where required. Teach or co-teach PE lessons to provide cover during staff absences. Supervise pupils using the school's gym and fitness facilities. Support Saturday morning fixtures through coaching, refereeing and team supervision (paid in addition to your salary).
