Grade 12 English Teacher

Unity Concord International School (UCIS) is seeking a passionate, skilled, and student-centred secondary English educator to join our high school team. This role primarily focuses on teaching Grade 12 English, including a specialised Creative Writing component, while also serving as a Grade 11 Advisory teacher. The successful candidate will support senior students in developing advanced literacy, analytical thinking, and written communication skills while fostering creativity, originality, and confidence through engaging English and creative writing instruction. In addition to academic teaching responsibilities, this teacher will play a key pastoral role through Grade 11 Advisory, supporting students’ personal growth, wellbeing, and readiness for senior school success. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field Recognised teaching licence, credential, or certification from the country of training (e.g., PGCE, QTS, state certification) Minimum of two years of full-time classroom teaching experience at the middle/high school level (international experience preferred) Strong knowledge of English literature, composition, and writing instruction Ability to teach both academic English and creative writing effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Eligibility to obtain a work permit and visa in Thailand Salary & Benefits: Salary based on qualifications, certification, and years of experience Yearly renewable contract Health benefits (school contributes 50% of SSO government insurance)
