German Teacher (Part Time)

Start Date: September 2026 Application Deadline: 8 July 2026 Verbier International School (VIS) is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Part Time German Teacher to join our growing international school in the Swiss Alps from September 2026. We are looking for a teacher who can inspire students across a wide range of ages and abilities, from complete beginners through to native speakers studying German Language and Literature (German A). Experience of teaching within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) would be highly desirable. The Role The successful candidate will: Teach German across secondary year groups. Deliver engaging lessons from beginner German acquisition through to advanced German A courses. Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of multilingual learners. Contribute to the wider life of the school and support our international ethos. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the German curriculum. The Ideal Candidate Applicants should: Hold a recognised teaching qualification. Be a native or near native German speaker. Have experience teaching German as both a first and additional language. Have experience of, or a strong interest in, the IB MYP and DP. Be passionate about language learning and intercultural understanding. Be committed to high academic standards and student wellbeing. Why Join VIS?
