German teacher

Almunecar International school is situated in a beautiful location between the mountains and the sea in the Costa Tropical between Malaga and Granada in Spain. We are a small international school following the British curriculum but currently have a student population of 60% Spanish and a mixture of mostly English, Northern Europeans and Chinese making up the rest of the school population. We can offer a typical Spanish salary for the post. We are recruiting for the following teacher: SECONDARY GERMAN TEACHER (Fluent speaker). This is a full time post . We seek an experienced, flexible and well-qualified professional who combines creative energy with the highest teaching standards. Above all we seek a real commitment to academic excellence. We require a B.Ed. or PGCE (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience (including A Level) and qualified teacher status (QTS). We are looking for someone who can teach German to Year 6 and throughout the secondary school including A Level. Please indicate in your letter of application any additional subject/s you are able to offer. These could be any subject such as Mathematics, French, etc. Profile: The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the importance of observing and assessing student's development in order to inform planning. working knowledge of the English programs of study and will be able to create a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment. Knowledge and experience of teaching GCSE and A Level courses is important, as is a good knowledge of the British curriculum.
