The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for general subjects and drama, and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and pastoral care that supports the academic and personal development of children across Truro School Prep. The successful candidate will bring energy, creativity and expertise to the teaching of general subjects and drama, inspiring pupils of all abilities and fostering a love of learning. They will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons, demonstrate excellent classroom practice, and use assessment effectively to support pupil progress. They will also contribute to the development of the curriculum, adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual pupils, and ensure an inclusive and stimulating learning environment across the Prep School. In addition to classroom teaching, the role involves contributing to the wider life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities, extra-curricular activities, educational visits and events. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues, communicate effectively with parents, and actively engage in professional development.
