About this role
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Gardener to join our Gardens & Grounds team, helping to maintain the beautiful grounds enjoyed by our pupils, parents and staff throughout the year.
This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role covering everything from beds and borders to lawns and seasonal planting. You'll take pride of ownership over your own areas of the campus, while working within a close-knit team that genuinely enjoys what it does.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining and improving our beds, borders, and planting schemes to a high horticultural standard
Caring for trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants, from planning through to planting and upkeep
Grass cutting and general garden maintenance
Keeping paths and pavements tidy and free of debris
Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard
Supporting School events and, when needed, winter gritting and snow clearing rotas
About You
Minimum Level 2 qualification in Horticulture
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
A collaborative, can-do attitude
Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional Saturdays and early starts during winter
