FRENCH TEACHER (SECONDARY SECTION)
Rainbow International School is a coeducational 2 – 18 years day and boarding school in Kampala, Uganda. As a well-established, reputable, well respected and one of the largest international schools in the country, we deliver the EYFS and IPC curricula in the Primary section, English National curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Cambridge IGCSE and Advanced Level in Key Stages 4 and 5. We also offer Pearson BTEC Level 3 courses as an alternative pathway to University.
The Post:
We are seeking an experienced and well qualified individual (graduates/degree holders) to fill this all important role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving languages department where French and German are already established subjects. This role offers the chance to teach Secondary French from Year 7 all the way to A Level.

● A working knowledge of Google Apps and the confidence to work with IT in the classroom
● Candidates with knowledge of the Spanish language and ability to teach Spanish may have the
opportunity to introduce an after-school/extra-curricular Spanish Language Club
We require teachers who are:
● In possession of a minimum of three years teaching experience in the UK or overseas in a British curriculum school after acquiring either a Bachelor of Education degree or PGCE in French
