Salary: £44,203 pro rata. Part-time (12 hours per week). Term time (28 actual working weeks). Permanent. Based at Welsh Bridge campus.
Based at our Welsh Bridge campus, the French Language Assistant will work under the direction of teaching staff to help prepare students for the A level oral examination. This will involve working with small groups of students to improve their linguistic ability, with a focus on oral skills. Applicants must have native speaker competence in French and the ability to work positively with students to improve their confidence in French speaking. Knowledge of the requirements of A Level exam specifications and recent experience in an educational environment would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
Shrewsbury College is Shropshire’s largest college. The college operates at three campuses in Shrewsbury.
