This is a defining leadership opportunity for an inspiring, strategic and experienced school leader. The Founding Principal will define the school’s culture and ethos, build and inspire an exceptional staff team, and establish the academic, pastoral and operational foundations that will guide the school through its early years and into maturity. This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional school leader to drive the creation of a King’s Wimbledon International School in Abu Dhabi. 2 Working in close partnership with King’s College School Wimbledon International and Aldar Education, the Founding Head will shape the school from the very beginning defining its vision, culture, and academic foundations. The role will be pivotal in bringing the school to life as it opens its doors to its first pupils, establishing its character, assembling its founding team, and guiding its early growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of senior leadership within British or British‑international education. They will bring academic credibility, warmth, presence and cultural intelligence, and will be excited by the opportunity to lead a high‑profile school in a dynamic Middle Eastern context. The role offers professional autonomy, close strategic partnership and the support required to build a school of lasting reputation and excellence.
