About this role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our Central Finance Team and provide key support to the Trust.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
Being the first port of call for all incoming enquiries, verbal and in writing, and responding to these where appropriate or escalating as necessary
Inputting standing information to the Trust’s finance system (supplies debtors) in accordance with procedures
Processing purchase orders from requisitions accurately and in accordance with agreed authorisation, timescales and procedures
Knowledge of IRIS financials and procurement, purchase ledger experience, and a background in finance education would be desirable.
This post could be term-time only plus two weeks or an all-year-round post. The Finance Team is based at Smith’s Wood Academy, with one day a week (Wednesday) working from home.
