Finance Administrator

At Aurora Cedars School, we're looking for a proactive and organised Finance Administrator to join our team and play a vital role in keeping our school running efficiently.
What you'll be doing
In this varied and hands-on role, you will:
💼 Manage day-to-day financial administration across the school
🧾 Process purchase orders, invoices, and supplier queries
📦 Coordinate ordering, deliveries, and goods receipting
💳 Reconcile petty cash and purchasing cards
🤝 Work closely with the Central Finance team to ensure accurate and timely payments
📊 Provide financial data, reports, and support to colleagues and managers
⚙️ Support process improvements and help implement new finance systems
📚 Assist with booking training, travel, and accommodation
You'll be central to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the school.
About you

What you'll need
Bookkeeping qualification or AAT Level 2 (or equivalent)
Experience working in a finance or administration role
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent numerical and accuracy skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable:
Experience in an education setting
