Film Technician

Bryanston is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Film Technician to join our dynamic Film Department. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our IB Film programme, helping students develop the technical expertise, creative vision and practical production skills needed to bring their ideas to life. Working closely with teaching staff, you will deliver practical workshops and provide individual technical support across all stages of film production. Your expertise will help students build confidence in camera operation and set-up, cinematography, lighting, sound recording, production workflows and post-production editing using DaVinci Resolve. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the department's film and media production equipment, ensuring it is well maintained, organised and ready for use. This includes maintaining equipment inventories and booking systems, monitoring equipment condition, arranging repairs and servicing, and making recommendations for future purchases and upgrades to ensure the department continues to provide students with access to high-quality resources.
