The role:
We are looking for a passionate practitioner to join our Family Partnership Team to further develop our relationships with families and the wider community, contribute to the overall aim of the trust to 'mitigate the impact of disadvantage in order to achieve the bets possible outcomes for our students' and to work preventatively to provide early intervention, guidance and support with any possible barriers to education.
Key Responsibilities
Work as part of a team to ensure family support is accessible and tailored to individual family needs.
Identify emerging needs through internal and external referrals and building relationships with students and families.
Lead on Early help assessments, Team around the family meetings and multi agency planning.
Develop and monitor early help plans, ensuring actions are clear, timely and effective.
To maintain a continuous focus on creating positive relationships with MCA students, their families and the wider community.
Pro actively engage with external partner agencies to provide referrals and assist the delivery of interventions.
Work directly with students to provide appropriate support including 1:1 mentoring and delivery of small group activities in order to remove barriers to learning.
Run the Magic Breakfast programme, creating a safe, welcoming space for students each morning upon their arrival at school.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues across the trust, in particular attendance safeguarding and pastoral teams.
Contribute to the delivery of the student health programme which includes administering medication
