Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between families and the school.
- Facilitate communication regarding student progress, attendance, and wellbeing.
- Provide support to families facing challenges that may impact their child’s education.
- Assist in transition plans for new students.
- Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and other staff to address family concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with families.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within an educational or community setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build trustful relationships with diverse families from various backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using basic office software (e.g., email, word processing).
- Understanding of safeguarding policies related to children’s welfare.
