Location: Claystone School, Luton, LU1 4LL
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday | 8:15am - 4:15pm
Salary: £24,000 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

About the Role
We're looking for a Family Liaison Officer & Administrative Support to become an integral part of our supportive school community. This is a rewarding and varied role where you'll combine meaningful work with families alongside coordinating essential SEND administration to ensure every pupil receives the support they need.
You'll be the reassuring voice families can rely on, building trusting relationships, offering guidance and ensuring they feel heard, valued and involved in their child's journey. Alongside this, you'll play a key role in managing EHCPs and Annual Reviews, working closely with colleagues, local authorities and external professionals to help secure the very best outcomes for our pupils.

What You’ll Do
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and their families, becoming a welcoming and approachable point of contact.
Provide ongoing support and maintain regular communication between home and school, ensuring families feel informed and involved.
Work alongside teachers, pastoral staff and external agencies to provide coordinated support that improves outcomes for pupils.
Coordinate the administration of EHCPs and Annual Reviews, ensuring statutory deadlines are met accurately and efficiently.
Prepare, gather and maintain confidential documentation, reports and pupil records to a consistently high standard.
