Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher – Maternity Cover Start date: October 2026 Contract: Maternity Cover – October 2026 to June 2027, with the possibility of a permanent position in the future Location: Bangkok, Thailand We are seeking an inspiring, nurturing and reflective Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join our growing Aster community from October 2026. This position is initially maternity cover until the end of June 2027. However, as Aster continues to grow, there may be the opportunity for the successful candidate to move into a permanent teaching position in the future. Our EYFS programme is built around purposeful play, rich continuous provision and strong early language and phonics development. We believe young children learn best in carefully designed environments where curiosity is encouraged, independence is nurtured and every child feels safe, known and valued. We are looking for a teacher who understands how thoughtful adult interaction, well-planned learning environments and a balance of child-initiated and guided learning help children develop confidence, creativity and strong foundations for future learning. Essential Requirements Applicants must: Be a native-level English speaker Hold a degree in Education and/or a recognised teaching qualification Have previous teaching experience within EYFS/Early Years Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, child development and safeguarding Be able to plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate learning experiences Be committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of every child We Would Love to Hear From Teachers Who Understand and value purposeful play and high-quality continuous provision Are confident in supporting early language, communication and phonics development Create joyful, enquiry-led and hands-on learning experiences Use observation and assessment effectively to understand each child's development and next steps Build warm, positive relationships with children and fami
