About Epsom College Tokyo Epsom College Tokyo is a new British international Preparatory School opening in Autumn 2027, located in Uchikanda, Chiyoda-ku, minutes from Tokyo Station. The school delivers the British National Curriculum to children aged 3–11, forming part of the global EDUC8 Group alongside Epsom College UK (est. 1855) and Epsom College Malaysia. Pupils progressing through Epsom Tokyo follow a clear, connected pathway: Primary (EYFS–Year 6) at Tokyo → Secondary boarding (Years 7–11) at Epsom College Malaysia → Sixth Form (Years 12–13) at Malaysia or Epsom College UK. Curriculum alignment between the schools is deliberate, and Tokyo teachers collaborate with Malaysia colleagues as part of that process. The school is pursuing COBIS pre-authorisation as its accreditation pathway. Working alongside a bilingual (English/Japanese) Teaching Assistant, you will support children—many entering an English-medium setting for the first time—in building curiosity, confidence, and communication. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, child-led learning in line with the EYFS framework. Build strong, professional relationships with families. Participate in pre-opening planning and curriculum development starting July 2027. Collaborate with colleagues in Malaysia to ensure deliberate curriculum alignment.
