At Nun Academy, our Early Years provision combines the English Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, and an Arabic immersion model, creating a rich and nurturing environment where children develop curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning. We are seeking an exceptional EYFS Coordinator to lead and further develop our Daycare to EYFS 2 provision. What You'll Do: Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Early Years setting from Daycare through to EYFS 2. Partner with the Head of Academics (EYFS) to strategically lead the design, implementation and ongoing evaluation of an exceptional Early Years curriculum, ensuring full alignment with the EYFS Framework whilst embedding Reggio Emilia-inspired approaches that promote inquiry, creativity, independence and child-led learning. Champion a high-quality bilingual learning environment, ensuring Arabic immersion experiences are embedded throughout the provision, whilst English is taught explicitly and authentically through English. Foster environments that provoke curiosity, creativity, collaboration and independent learning, making effective use of pedagogical documentation to celebrate and make visible children's learning journeys. Coach, mentor and support Early Years practitioners to deliver exceptional teaching, learning and care, promoting a culture of collaboration, reflection and continuous improvement. Monitor children's progress and attainment, ensuring assessment practices are meaningful, developmentally appropriate and used effectively to inform planning, provision and intervention.
