About this role
The Early Years Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that supports the educational, social, emotional, and physical development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS curriculum.
Support children's development across all learning areas.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress and maintain accurate student records.
Create a positive, inclusive, and child-centered classroom environment.
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
Work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behavior guidance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Teaching qualification/license recognized by local authorities.
Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching in an Early Years setting (preferred).
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
Skills and Competencies:
Creativity and enthusiasm in teaching.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
