Job Purpose
To provide strategic leadership for quality, standards, teaching, learning and pedagogical innovation across the college, ensuring a culture of high expectations, accountability and continuous improvement.
The postholder will lead the development of an outstanding learner experience through the implementation of effective quality systems, evidence-informed teaching practice, workforce capability development and the innovative use of digital technologies, including AI-enabled approaches to teaching, learning and assessment.
The Executive Director –Quality & Standards will play a key role in strengthening organisational effectiveness through the development of robust quality assurance systems, leadership accountability, high-performance teaching practice and a culture compliance and of continuous improvement.
The role will support the college in achieving excellence in learner outcomes, curriculum delivery, staff capability and inspection readiness across all areas of provision including apprenticeships.
As a member of the Leadership Team, the postholder will contribute strategically to whole-college planning, organisational development and the achievement of the college’s strategic objectives.

Provide visible and credible leadership for quality and standards across the college.
Contribute to the strategic leadership and operational management of the college as a member of the Leadership Team.
Support the Vice Principal – Curriculum & Quality in driving a high-support, high-accountability culture focused on learner outcomes and continuous high standards and quality improvement.
