About this role

The Role

As the Exams Officer you will primarily be responsible for accurate exam entries, compliance with JCQ regulations and all things that ensure the smooth running of internal and external assessments in school. As a member of the wider data team you will also support in the development of software programs and data analysis. You will:

  • Administer all aspects of internal and external assessments
  • Maintain databases and systems related to exams
  • Provide training to Exam Invigilators and distribute them across the exam timetable in accordance with JCQ Regulations
  • Support the maintenance of exam policies

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent attention to detail, being able to meet strict deadlines and work within the confines of JCQ regulations is a must
  • An ability to work well under pressure with proven decision-making skills
  • The confidence to train and lead a team of Exam Invigilators
  • The ability to work closely with Heads of Department, ensuring they meet the deadlines set for exam entries and internal data points.
