About this role
We are looking for an outstanding colleague (Term-Time Plus) to provide professional, compliant and efficient leadership of all examination and assessment administration within the School, ensuring full adherence to JCQ, awarding body and regulatory requirements, and to support the effective operation of progress and reporting systems. The Examinations Officer plays a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of public examinations, supporting pupils appropriately, and ensuring the School is inspection ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities
External Examinations: Compliance and Administration
Liaison with Awarding Bodies
Act as the primary point of contact with all awarding bodies.
Manage all examination entries, amendments, withdrawals and late entries.
Submit forecast grades in line with awarding body deadlines.
Assist, where needed, Heads of Department with submitting coursework and controlled assessment marks in line with awarding body deadlines.
In partnership with the SENCO, manage applications for access arrangements and reasonable adjustments, ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations.
Obtain evidence internally, and where necessary externally, and apply for special consideration.
Manage all post‑examination processes, including enquiries about results and access to scripts.
Retrieve and securely manage examination results on official release dates.
Examination Organisation and Centre Compliance
Ensure full compliance with JCQ ICE, awarding body requirements and statutory guidance.
