Overview:
The Examinations Officer is responsible for the effective administration, organisation and delivery of all internal and external examinations and assessments across the school. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations, maintaining examination integrity and supporting students and staff throughout assessment periods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all external examinations, including GCSE, IGCSE, AS Level, A Level and other accredited qualifications.
• Submit accurate candidate entries to awarding bodies within published deadlines.
• Withdraw students within deadlines where necessary
• Administer internal examinations and mock examination series, including timetabling, rooming, seating plans and invigilation schedules.
• Inform students and parents of all deadlines for entries for examinations and retakes and coordinate responses
• Coordinate standardised testing such as GL Assessments and NGRTs.
• Order, prepare and manage examination stationery and materials ahead of all exam sittings.
• Receive, securely store, distribute and dispatch examination pa
