About this role
Safa British School is seeking an organised, detail-oriented, and experienced Examinations Officer & Access Arrangements Assessor to join our Secondary Inclusion Team. The successful candidate will coordinate exam access arrangements, support examination administration, and ensure that all students entitled to access arrangements receive appropriate provision in line with JCQ regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) for secondary students in accordance with JCQ regulations.
Conduct assessments and gather evidence to determine eligibility for access arrangements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, applications, and approved arrangements.
Liaise with students, parents, teachers, and examination boards regarding access arrangements and examination procedures.
Work closely with the Inclusion Team to identify students who may require support during assessments and examinations.
Support the administration and delivery of internal and external examinations.
Ensure all examination processes comply with JCQ and awarding body regulations.
Monitor the effectiveness of arrangements and review provision as required.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Access Arrangements Assessor (Level 7 Assessment Qualification or equivalent recognised qualification).
Experience coordinating and implementing Exam Access Arrangements.
Strong knowledge of JCQ regulations and examination procedures.
Experience supporting students with SEND and additional learning needs.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accurate records.
Strong ICT skills and proficiency with educational systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience as an Examinations Officer in a British curriculum school.
Experience within a Secondary Inclusion Team.
