EXAM INVIGILATOR The Governing Board of Sacred Heart High School wish to appoint Exam Invigilators Sacred Heart High School is an outstanding Catholic School in the trusteeship of the Society of the Sacred Heart, and is part of a network of Sacred Heart schools worldwide. The purpose of this role is to support the Examinations Department in ensuring that all examinations are conducted in accordance with JCQ guidelines, creating and maintaining an environment in which students can achieve their full potential. Responsibilities include supervising and directing students into the examination room according to the seating plan, patrolling the room discreetly, maintaining awareness of other invigilators, and ensuring the correct ratio of students to staff at all times. You will help students understand and adhere to examination regulations, assist with the accurate completion of registers, distribute and collect examination papers and scripts, and support the secure delivery and return of materials. The role also involves supervising the orderly exit of candidates, reporting incidents, supporting students with any issues that arise, completing incident logs when required, and working collaboratively within the invigilation team under the direction of the Lead Invigilator, including assisting the Exam Inspector as needed. This role is offered on a zero-hours basis, with working hours dependent on exam schedules. Successful candidates will need to be flexible and available during peak exam periods.
