Estates Gardener

Ardingly College is seeking to recruit an experienced Gardener responsible for maintaining gardens and horticultural areas to a high standard throughout Ardingly College and Great Walstead School. The post requires a particular emphasis on horticultural maintenance, and candidates should have a strong background in gardening and horticulture, with associated knowledge and experience. You will be working alongside other department members. Hours of Work: This is a full-time, year-round role for 40 hours per week. The standard working pattern will be 7.00am to 3.30pm (inclusive of a 30-minute paid lunch break and a 30-minute unpaid break). There is a need for members of the team to be on a rota to undertake work on Saturdays, which equates to approximately nine Saturday mornings per annum. Salary: £28,553 per annum. During term-time, all staff are provided with complimentary meals when working.
