About this role
Job PurposeThe post holder will have a particular responsibility in planning, preparing, and delivering a suitable program that supports the education of young women and men across the Trust’s schools in preparing them for the challenges of living in the 21st Century. The post holder must constantly promote gender equality and organise a multitude of opportunities for students to take public platforms and have their voices heard. This will include Women’s Conferences, and engagement with all kinds of scholarship programmes with external partners such as the US Embassy and the Women of the World Festival amongst others.
The post holder will also be responsible for opening up relevant dialogues and debates relating to gender equality and discussing ideas and running campaigns with students as well as supporting students in challenging stereotypes and promoting equality within the family of schools.
The post holder will work closely with the Enriched Learning Co-ordinator in developing the ‘Pupil Pledge’, which extends personal development to all students within the family. The post holder will also work closely with the Enriched Learning Co-ordinator in mapping student progression and audit opportunities against the formal curriculum. This work contributes significantly to the public face of the Mulberry Family of Schools and so there will be a connectivity with the work of the CEO’s Executive Office.
