We are delighted to have been awarded funding to run an Enhanced Pathway to support students with additional needs to catch up with their peers. The Enhanced Pathway will run alongside the mainstream school curriculum and focus on supporting a group of students in KS3 to make rapid progress, particularly in literacy and numeracy, with the aim of gradually reintegrating into mainstream classes as attainment gaps close.
Are you someone with a genuine and infectious passion for inclusion? We are seeking a qualified primary or secondary teacher with SEND experience to lead our new Enhanced Pathway provision. The role involves supporting a small group of Year 8 and 9 students who have cognition and learning needs alongside a range of communication and interaction, SEMH and sensory/physical needs. We are looking for an innovative teacher passionate about achieving the best outcomes for all students especially those with SEND: someone who can enthuse and engage the students they teach whilst maintaining high expectations for all whatever their prior attainment.
The Enhanced Pathway Teacher will have a dedicated teaching space with a designated learning support assistant and will work alongside others in the Inclusion Team to create a welcoming
