Able Tutors is a leading tutoring agency based in London. At the moment we are looking for experienced tutors to teach GCSE English, in-person roles in London. This is a face-to-face position and will involve you teaching on a 1-to-1 basis. REQUIREMENTS At least one year of experience teaching English from the UK National Curriculum Extensive knowledge of current GCSE Curriculum requirements. Must hold an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to undergo one). able to travel to Islington, London have a relevant degree enhanced DBS clearance within the last 3 years be able to work during and/or after school hours and/or at weekends Be able to provide two references from recent employers or clients (e.g., parents of tutees or school leadership) who can verify your teaching/tutoring experience. The pay is dependent on qualifications and level of tuition required Responsibilities Develop and implement tailored lesson plans for GCSE English students. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment to encourage student participation. Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding academic performance and areas for improvement.
