MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESTeaches English to students of the IB section Shares in the overall responsibility for the academic progress, personal development, health and safety, and well-being of students Creates a quality teaching environment conducive to learning, implementing the principles of positive discipline Acts as a coach by setting learning objectives that are challenging, inspiring and motivating, within the Collège philosophy Adapts teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, with high expectations for all learners Communicates effectively and regularly with parents about their children’s learning and achievements Plans for, assesses, and reports student learning and progress PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES Master’s degree in English Qualified Teacher status Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years’ experience, ideally in an international school environment English mother tongue and fluency in French a plus Clean criminal records Swiss / EU citizenship / valid Swiss work permit
