About this role

We are seeking a qualified and passionate English Teacher to join our brand-new, purpose-built school opening in September 2026 in Ealing Broadway (W13), where Key Stage 2, 3 and 4 pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can thrive, gain qualifications and develop skills for adulthood. TCES North West London is expanding with a state-of-the-art specialist campus specifically designed for young people with SEND. Combining industry-standard facilities with small class sizes and therapeutic support, this school is created around the needs of our students — offering a truly unique and rewarding environment in which to teach. You will deliver an engaging and differentiated English (Language & Literature) curriculum, supporting pupils with complex needs and neurodiversity, including Autism. Working holistically, you will help pupils achieve their Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) targets, personal aspirations and qualifications — from Functional Skills through to GCSE and A Level. Essential requirements: Qualified Teacher (QTS or QTLS) with a specialism in English. Experience of supporting neurodiverse children with SEND, including those with ASC and/or SEMH, with an understanding of the implications for communication, learning and behaviour. Recent, proven experience as an outstanding English teacher with a demonstrable track record of improving learning outcomes. Working knowledge of the National Curriculum, KS requirements and the Code of Practice for SEND. Ability to offer a calm, de-escalating response to pupils with complex needs, promoting emotional regulation and positive relationships. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to a range of audiences. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
