English and Maths Engagement and Achievement Mentor

Loughborough College Group is seeking a dedicated English & Maths Engagement and Achievement Mentor at Stephenson College.

This role will mentor to deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group coaching for students working toward their GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications.

Working alongside curriculum teams, you will monitor attendance, identify underachievement and implement tailored interventions to break down learning barriers and build student confidence for further study, apprenticeships, or employment.

Candidates should have a proven experience mentoring young people in an educational environment. Grounded in our FREDIE values—Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement—we offer a collaborative environment focused on student success.
