SRI KDU International School Subang Jaya is located on the outskirts of the safe, modern, and vibrant capital city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are a growing FOBISIA and COBIS associate member school in our seventh academic year, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join us as an English & Literature Teacher for August 2026.
As an English & Literature Teacher, your primary responsibility is to ensure that all aspects of the Sri KDU global teaching standards are translated into daily classroom practice. You are expected to create an environment where every student assigned to you feels valued, supported, and empowered.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified teachers with a relevant degree relating to English Language & Literature/Education will be eligible.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
Experience of working in a British based international school will be an advantage.
English language fluency is essential and will be evaluated as part of the recruitment process.
Candidates with experience in ESL and/or Drama will have an added advantage.
Accountability:
As a Sri KDU Teacher, you are accountable for the following:
The level of achievement for students assigned, including their progress in English language and Literature.
Providing evidence of students’ progress and attainment in English & Literature.
Development of Sri KDU priorities related to English & Literature programmes and literacy initiatives.
Planning & Preparation:
In addition to the responsibilities outlined in the previous section, as a Sri KDU Teacher of English & Literature, you will:
Create a curriculum that develops students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking skills.
Plan engaging learning activities that encourage creativity, communication, and analytical thinking.
