We are seeking a passionate, resilient and highly organised Education Welfare Officer to join our ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people and their families by helping pupils overcome barriers to attendance, engagement and success.
Working alongside our Attendance Champion, safeguarding team, pastoral leaders and external agencies, you will play a pivotal role in improving attendance, strengthening family engagement and ensuring that vulnerable pupils receive the support they need to attend school regularly and flourish.
The Role
You will lead on attendance casework, family liaison and targeted intervention for pupils whose attendance is causing concern, particularly those at risk of persistent or severe absence.

This is a role for someone who understands that attendance is not simply an administrative issue. It is often a safeguarding, welfare and inclusion issue that requires persistence, compassion and professional challenge.
What We Are Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who have:
Experience of attendance casework, education welfare work, Early Help processes or multi-agency working would be highly desirable.
