About this role

Salary: NJC Scale SO1 Scale Point 23-25 starting at Scale Point 23 £34,434 pa pro-rata (up to full-time, term time only) Pro-rata salary £30,063pa approx based on 37 hours per week. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and hard-working colleague to the role of Education Welfare Officer, on a full or part-time basis who is committed to improving the wellbeing, attendance and academic outcomes of young people, helping them to achieve more than they thought possible. You will play an important role in supporting high standards of attendance, punctuality and culture across year groups within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. As part of our pastoral team you will work closely with the Attendance Officer, Deputy and Assistant Headteachers, Heads of Year, SEND and Pastoral Colleagues, as well as teachers, external agencies and parents/carers. This is a non-teaching role. Full details of the requirements for the post are included in the attached job details.
