Education Psychologist

Are you passionate about helping young people reach their full potential? Doucecroft School, part of Autism Anglia, is looking for a dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our team.
Working across education, care, and health contexts, you will help deliver integrated, evidence-based therapeutic support, promoting psychological wellbeing and supporting the development of children and young people. You will play a key role in embedding high-quality practice and improving outcomes through a strategic, child-centred approach.

Location

Salary
£50-60,000 per annum (pro rata, term-time only, plus additional training days)
Hours
38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time only) plus 3 training days during school holidays
What the role involves
· Provide strategic leadership and clinical oversight of therapeutic services, ensuring evidence-based, outcome-focused delivery.
· Lead and develop an integrated model of therapeutic support across education, care, and health contexts.
· Deliver supervision, consultation, and professional guidance to therapy staff, promoting high standards of practice.
· Lead comprehensive psychological assessments and produce high-quality reports with clear, evidence-based recommendations.
· Design, implement, and evaluate therapeutic and behaviour support programmes for individuals and groups.
· Contribute to EHCP processes, statutory assessments, and multidisciplinary reviews to support effective provision.
· Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to embed therapeutic approaches and improve outcomes.
· Drive service development, training, and capacity building, promoting understanding of psychological wellbeing, neurodiversity, and trauma-informed practice.
