Economics Teacher

Tudor Hall seeks to appoint a part time inspirational teacher of Economics. The Business Studies and Economics Department is situated in two well-appointed teaching rooms. The subjects are both extremely popular choices in the Sixth Form. The Pearson Edexcel A Economics course is divided into four themes. Two of these themes focus on microeconomics – the study of individual markets, how they work and why they fail. In Business Studies the girls have the option to study either AQA Business Studies A Level or Business CamTec (Cambridge Technical). Examination results in all three pathways are consistently outstanding and year after year OTs go on to study related courses at highly selective universities. The Department also runs Tudor Enterprise, our in-house Sixth Form business co-curricular activity. Tudor Hall is a very successful girls’ boarding school with a strong sense of community. We are also a High Performance Learning (HPL) Pathway School and pupils consistently achieve excellent results in public examinations and across the co-curriculum.
