About us An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Crickets Montessori Nursery School from 1st September 2026. Crickets was established in 2004 by Celia Stephenson and is set in a stunning purpose-built building on Chatsworth Road NW2, overlooking Brondesbury Bowling Green. The building is also lucky enough to have its own private gardens which the children can explore and free flow throughout the day. Children generally start at Crickets around two and a half years old and follow a carefully structured programme of education based on the Montessori Method. The experience gained in our exciting environment gives children a firm foundation for the next stage of schooling. Our aim is to provide a safe, happy and caring environment in which each child develops at their own pace to reach their full potential while having fun. What are we looking for in you? A truly special person who has a genuine passion for Early Years to become part of our friendly and supportive team. A motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring children to excel, while enjoying their time at nursery. Strong experience of working in Early Years. A sound understanding of the EYFS and excellent communication skills with both adults and children. A Level 3 or above qualification. Previous experience of working in a Montessori setting is preferred but not essential. What do we offer: A highly competitive salary dependent on experience. Non-contact time each week during the nursery day to update observations and individual child profiles. A full-time position, term time only, Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm.
