About the School
At the British Early Years International School (BEYC), our values of Play, Individuality, Environment, Resilience, Relationships, and Nurture shape everything we do.
We are a leading Reggio Emilia inspired Early Years school in Bangkok, dedicated to children aged 2 - 6 years old. We believe in a child-led, play-based, and nature-inspired curriculum, blending the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a Reggio Emilia approach. Our unique fusion provides rich teaching opportunities, ensuring the child's voice is at the heart of everything we do.
Our environment promotes learning both inside and outside the classroom, with carefully selected sustainable toys and resources. We emphasise play-based and meaningful lessons, incorporating exciting hands-on games for Phonics and Maths. Teachers are encouraged to plan around the current interests of the children and always incorporate as much play, nature and independent learning as they can. Our health-conscious approach includes a nutritious menu catering to all allergies, using organic food and cleaning products.
What sets BEYC apart is our small class sizes and strong adult-to-child ratios. With a maximum of 16 children supported by one teacher and up to three Learning Assistants, classes benefit from an impressive 1:4 ratio. Our highly skilled Learning Assistants, many of whom have been with BEYC for several years, bring consistency and strong teamwork to every classroom.
In September 2025, BEYC opened its brand-new, purpose-built campus near our original site. The new school has been thoughtfully designed to support our Reggio Emilia and EYF
