Early Years Practitioner

Early Years Practitioner (Year-Round Nursery) We are seeking an exceptional Level Three qualified Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about young children and committed to providing the very highest standards of care, learning and development. The successful candidate will be kind, nurturing, energetic and adaptable, with a deep understanding of child development and a genuine delight in working with young children. This is an exciting opportunity to join an outstanding Early Years team at Walhampton School as we launch our new year-round nursery provision. Our Early Years Department comprises three distinct classes: Nursery, Stepping Stones and Kindergarten, each carefully designed to meet the needs of children at different stages of development. Together, they provide a seamless and nurturing journey for children from two years of age through to Reception. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you will help shape and develop our new 48 week nursery offer, creating a warm, stimulating and inspiring environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn. This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working collaboratively and is excited by the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of an ambitious Early Years provision. Applicants must hold a full and relevant Level Three Early Years qualification (or equivalent). A Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable, although training will be provided if required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding, outstanding practice within the EYFS and a belief that every child deserves the very best start in life.
