ResponsibilitiesEnvironment & Safety: Create and maintain a welcoming early years environment, ensuring all activities are set up and that materials and equipment are safe and clean.
Learning & Development: Contribute to the planning of learning activities, assisting staff in delivery and adapting tasks to support each child's unique development needs.
Assessment & Tracking: Work with individuals or small groups to monitor and report on responses to activities, contributing to assessment procedures and maintaining accurate routine records.
Classroom Management: Support the Teacher/Early Years Professional to ensure activities run smoothly, promoting positive behaviour and handling any incidents promptly in line with trust policy.
Inclusion & SEND Support: Provide feedback to the class teacher, contributing to the assessment of needs and the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Keyworker Duties: Act as a keyworker for designated children, establishing positive, trusted relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
Cover Supervision: Provide short-term cover supervision for the class in the temporary absence of the Teacher or Early Years Professional.
Wellbeing & Care: Attend to the personal, emotional, and social needs of the children to ensure a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
Administrative Support: Carry out essential clerical duties to support the classroom teache
