Early Years Practitioner/Assistant

EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER/ASSISTANT (QUALIFIED/UNQUALIFIED) Part Time 30 hours per week (7am- 1pm) Monday – Friday Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover) - All year round  We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Early Years Nursery Practitioner /Assistant to join our friendly nursery team. Our nursery welcomes babies from 6 months up in a bright, spacious, and inspirational learning environment with dedicated outside areas. As part of our thriving independent prep school, the nursery has full use of the 35 acres of idyllic country estate, from the Woodland Classroom for outdoor crafting, to the Sports Hall for soft play and story time in the Junior Library. Our weekly timetable is supported by specialist teachers for Forest School, Dance and Music. The successful candidate will have experience of working in an early years nursery. They will support the Room Leaders in the smooth running of the nursery classroom and deliver high standards of care, child development and learning for the nursery children. We understand the importance of flexibility and teamwork in a busy nursery, so are looking for someone who is adaptable, willing to support where needed and keen to contribute positively to the team. Due to the location of the school, which is close to Bletchingley and Merstham, a car is required as we are not near to any public transport. There is plenty of free parking onsite!
