Early Years Practitioner – Full Time (Level 3 preferred, Level 2 considered)Start Date: 1 September 2026
Following the expansion of our nursery to include 2-year-olds and year-round provision, Hunter Hall is seeking to appoint two caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join our Nursery and Pre-School team. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual who is passionate about early childhood education and supporting young children to thrive in a nurturing, family environment.
About the role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will help create a safe, engaging and inclusive setting where every child is supported to reach their full potential.
You will contribute to planning and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, supporting children’s learning through play-based experiences and purposeful use of our outdoor environment, including woodland and open spaces, in a setting where children are given time to explore deeply, create freely and grow with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the delivery of a stimulating and engaging EYFS curriculum
· Provide high-quality care and education through a balance of child-initiated and adult-led activities
· Support meaningful outdoor and woodland learning as a regular part of daily provision.
· Observe, assess and record children’s development, identifying next steps in learning
· Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children and their families
· Maintain a safe, organised and welcoming learning environment
· Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team
· Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusion policies at all times
· Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the Nursery and Pre-School
