Who we need We are looking for student centred, highly motivated individual who will support and guide students to gain excellent industry experience and exposure. We need you have an Early Years qualification to a level 3 standard and to have worked in an Early Years setting. You will be using this knowledge to formally assess and support students in their workplace setting ensure they meet specific criteria to enable them to achieve their qualification. It would be advantageous for you have an assessors award, or be willing to achieve one. Key duties include: To act as conduit between the curriculum team, the employer and the learner; updating all on progress made. Conduct workplace assessments and all relevant paperwork as stated by the awarding body in a timely and accurate manner Participate in moderation and quality improvement processes to ensure all documentation complies to relevant standards Work directly with curriculum teams to effectively promote work experience/placements opportunities within their programmes to maximise the opportunity available to college students. Ensuring timely completion of work placement/experience within agreed and appropriate timescales. Support students in applying for the work placement and/or experience in a professional manner. Ensure students are logging their work placement and experience hours on the system used by the college.
