As we expand our educational provision and embark upon an ambitious new phase of development, we are seeking an outstanding EYFS Co-ordinator to lead and strengthen an Early Years provision widely recognised for its quality and distinctive practice. Our Early Years is one of the great strengths of BIIS. We are proud of what has been achieved, but we are not interested in standing still. We are looking for an exceptional Early Years practitioner and leader who shares our ambition to build upon these strong foundations, maintain the standards for which our provision is known and take it even further. THE OPPORTUNITY This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years leader — or an exceptional practitioner ready for the next stage of their career — to take genuine responsibility for the continued development of EYFS at BIIS. The successful candidate will lead teaching, learning and curriculum development across the Early Years, working closely with colleagues to ensure that every child benefits from an ambitious, joyful and stimulating start to their education. PHONICS MATTERS At BIIS, we believe that learning to read confidently is one of the greatest gifts we can give a child. Phonics is therefore fundamental to our Early Years provision. We have high ambitions for early reading and are committed to developing confident, enthusiastic readers from the earliest possible age. The successful candidate must have excellent knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics and the expertise, enthusiasm and determination to ensure consistently strong practice across the Early Years. Th
