About this role
Sydenham & Dulwich Girls GDST is seeking an enthusiastic DT Technician to support its Design & Technology department as the school opens new Design Technology, Innovation and Maker Spaces.
Working with the Head of Design Technology, you will prepare equipment and materials, maintain machinery, manage stock, support students during practical lessons and help keep the workshop safe, organised and ready for use. You will also support displays, exhibitions, lunchtime clubs and wider co-curricular projects.
You will bring strong technical knowledge of DT, including CAD and Adobe Suite, with confidence using a range of materials, tools and machinery. Experience in an education-based workshop, 3D printing or laser cutting would be valuable.
