Contract: Full time (1 FTE) maternity cover (8.30am – 5.45pm)
Salary: up to £44,785 per annum, depending on experience
Job Start Date: end of October 2026
Job End Date: end of October 2027 (or the date on which the person on maternity leave returns to work, whichever is the sooner)

The School is looking to appoint an experienced Drama & Theatre Studies Teacher (maternity cover) to join our vibrant and creative Drama Department and Acting Course.
The successful candidate should have a genuine passion for drama, acting and theatre studies, both academically and vocationally, and the ability to convey this to pupils is essential. You will join a dedicated and supportive staff environment and the school also offers the advantage of small classes, talented and committed students, with strong public examination results.
Summary of key duties:
To teach GCSE Drama (Eduqas) & A level Theatre Studies (Eduqas)
To teach general drama vocational classes when required (including text, acting technique and theory) as part of the Preps (yrs 4-6), Performance Foundation (yrs 7-11) and Acting (yrs 12-13) courses.
To assist in vocational projects for public performance as required by the Director of Drama.
To attend staff meetings, in-service training and conferences regularly to keep up to date with current training modalities and assessment procedures.
To prepare reports of pupils’ progress and maintain an up-to-date register with regularly assessed classes. To meet with parents as required to discuss a pupi
